The term Nawab means - provincial governor in the Moghul India. So the Nawabi's cuisine will be royal and rich reflecting their social status. Nawabi Aloo is a dish from the nawabs of Awadh, presently known as Lucknow region in North India. This potato based dish is a mix mildly spiced and sweetish in taste. Best paired with a Pilaf and as always any Indian gravy would be paired even with rotis and Nan.
