New Beginnings to The Magic Saucepan

And suddenly you know: It’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.”

– Meister Eckhart

It’s been 4 years since I started this blog and this was my very first post. The one that I wrote sans experience and forethought. All I wanted to do was blog the recipe and write something about it. I had just quit my job, packed my bags and flown across the ocean to start a new life in a foreign land. Once the honeymooning was over and when I still had difficulty getting another job, I decided to create one for myself – becoming a blogger.  With a new found passion in the kitchen and with so much time in hand, it only felt right to put my time to good use by blogging.

It kept me and my creative side busy & engaged. The early years of being an trailing expatriate was exhausting. There were so many restrictions in my lifestyle and every city was different; in terms of people, culture, safety and independence. It took a great time to adjust to the new environment and my blog certainly helped me to find my stability in my oscillating life.

Since then, it has been  a part of my life. It has grown and evolved along with me through these years. Now, after all these years, the blog finally has its upgrade. A fresh look and a new start!  Along with that, I have also branched out to start another blog – City Starlings, with my friends. It is an expat lifestyle blog to help people who are in the same boat as I.

I am happy to announce this on Tamil New year and sincerely wish all of you a prosperous and wonderful life ahead!

P.S. Those who wonder about Alohomora – the clue is I am a big fan of Harry Potter series. 😉 😉
